Paul Clement, a former solicitor general representing the 26 states challenging the law, argued on the third and final day of oral arguments in the case over the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that if the individual mandate is unconstitutional, then the whole law is illegal, according to a Washington Post report.

The bill could be approved this year or early next year, when the new session begins, and might become a ballot issue for voters in May 2013.

Q&A: What type of life insurance is the most affordable?

February 24th, 2012 No comments

Saving money is always an important consideration, and it is certainly an important consideration when it comes to life insurance. It is important to shop around as much as possible in order to get the best possible life insurance coverage at the lowest possible rates.

All else being equal, term life insurance coverage should provide the highest level of coverage at the lowest possible premiums. That is because term life provides a death benefit – and only a death benefit. There is no cash value, no investment component and no other complications.
